The Kaghan Valley is in the Mansehra District of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan. Its mountains, dales, lakes, water-falls, streams and glaciers are in an unspoiled paradise. That is why it can be such a deeply satisfying experience to spend a few days in Kaghan. Kaghan is at its best in the summer months (May to September). In May the temperature is : maximum 11oc and the minimum 3oC.

Kaghan is beautiful place to visit. Its valleys and Lakes make it like wonderland of Pakistan. Normally it is known together with Naran Valley that is very next to it. Both valleys are called Kaghan Naran as one place. Saif ul Malook Lake is one the greatest attraction that is like a fairy place. It also has account in history. There is a complete book of poetry written by Mian Mohamamd Bakhsh on it.

Kaghan Naran is usually very expensive so spend the night in Kaghan and spend the next day sightseeing in Naran. Naran's city center is very congested and note that there is no electricity there, everything is running on a generator. Kaghan's city center is quite congested too, but it's only a few hundred meters long.
